Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrive in Victoria Falls
Welcome to Victoria Falls Airport and transfer to your accommodation in Victoria Falls where you can relax and unwind from the journey and prepare for the adventure of the next days.
In the evening you enjoy a SunSet Cruise in Zambezi River on top of the Victoria Falls.
Day 2 : Guided tour of the Falls & Boating in Chobe River
A local guide takes you on a guided walking tour through the Victoria Falls Rainforest. You can see the Victoria Falls from different angles.
Later travel to Chobe National Park and after arrival in the afternoon/evening take a boating safari in Chobe River.
Day 3 : Game viewing in Chobe & Elephant Sands
The Riverfront in Chobe National Park is famous for its large numbers of elephants Chobe which attract animal lovers from all over the world. You start the day with a morning game drive in Chobe in an open safari vehicle. We then continue our journey to Elephant Sands. Enjoy the scenery of this unique place. Elephant Sands gives you the opportunity to observe herds of elephants and other animals from an upclose distance. Sit by the waterhole and view how the animals interact.
Day 4 : Visiting the Saltpans & Meerkats of Makgadkgadi
In the very early morning you go on a guided walking excursion through the bush of the Elephant Sands Game Reserve. On return you have a full breakfast and time for a last view on the happenings at the waterhole before continuing the journey to Makgadikgadi.
The afternoon is dedicated to the salt pans of the Makgadikgadi. In a 4×4 safari vehicle you explore the dry lands. First stop is at the colony of Meerkats, who live on the edge of the Ntwetwe salt pan. With a little luck we have the once in a life time opportunity to observe their natural behaviours and charming personalities from almost touching distance! After visiting and interacting with the Meerkats we then continue to the vast Ntwetwe salt pan, which forms part of one of the largest salt pans in the world, likened to being on the surface of the moon, the sight of the salt pan is truly one to behold!
Day 5 : Maun
After breakfast we continue to Maun where you have time to relax and unwind. You can book a scenic flight over the Okavango Delta on surcharge and in advance.
Day 6 : In the Channels of The Okavango Delta
Today you spend the whole day in the Okavango Delta. The tour starts in the early morning with a 1h speedboat cruise to the Buffalo Fence. Because of dry season or other circumstances we might drive you in a 4×4 vehicle. At the buffalo fence you meet your poler, who will take you on an unforgettable journey through the channels of the Okavango. Born and raised in the Okavango Delta, our local guides show you their home which they are very passionate and knowledgable about. Our experienced guide take you on a journey deep in the watersystem. Enjoy the peace of the delta in a Mokoro, the traditional onetree-canoe. For picnic lunch you stop on one of the islands. Afterwards you go on a walking safari. Another Mokoro excursion takes you back to the buffalo fence where we pick you up for your return transfer to Maun.
Day 7 : Departure from Maun
We transfer you to the airport where you connect to your departure flight with your baggage full of unforgettable experiences.
