Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival to Panama
Welcome to Panama! Upon arrival at the air-port you will be transferred to the hotel for check in. Take the afternoon to settle into your accommodations and enjoy the hotel’s amenities.
Day 2 – Panama City Sightseeing & Canal Visit
Start your day with a delightful breakfast at your hotel before you begin your exploration with a visit to Cerro Ancon for breathtaking panoramic views of Panama City, followed by a stroll through the historic Casco Viejo district, known for its colonial architecture and vibrant plazas. Conclude your day with a visit to the Panama Canal Miraflores Locks to witness the engineering marvel of the Panama Canal. Return to your hotel for a relaxing evening.
Day 3 – Wildlife Adventure on Monkey Island & Gatun Lake
Start your day with a hearty breakfast at your hotel before departing for a boat tour on the Panama Canal to Monkey Island. As you navigate the canal waters, you’ll encounter capuchin and howler monkeys, along with a variety of bird species in their natural habitat. Enjoy the serene beauty of Gatun Lake and learn about its crucial role in the canal’s operations. Return to your hotel around noon and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Alternativey you also have the option to do the tour in the afternoon instead of the morning; however, there are more chances of seeing animals in the morning.
Day 4 – Cultural Immersion in Embera Village & Waterfall Tour
Begin your day with a nutritious breakfast and check out from your hotel. Travel to the Embera meeting point, where you will board a pirogue (traditional canoe) to reach the Embera indigenous village. Engage with the Embera people, learn about their customs, and enjoy traditional music and dance. Hike to a nearby waterfall (water level permitting) for a refreshing dip. In the afternoon, return to your hotel.
Day 5 – Departure
Start your day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel. Take some time for last-minute shopping or a leisurely walk before check-out. Later checkout from the hotel and transferred to the Airport for your onward destination.
