Upon arrival at Buenos Aires’s Ezeiza International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to spend at your leisure, either relaxing at your hotel or exploring the city. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel discover the magic of Buenos Aires. This morning consists of a three-hour city tour with a local guide and is a well-rounded introduction to Buenos Aires’s famous sights while also leaving you with some free time to explore the city. The tour includes a visit to the beautiful parks and gardens of Recoleta and Palermo neighborhoods, the Colon Theatre, Mayo Square, The Cathedral, traditional Mayo Avenue, Congress Square, and many other buildings and palaces (entrances not included – most have free entrance). The tour continues with a visit to San Telmo, residence of the aristocracy until the end of the 19th century. After that, you will have the opportunity to explore Caminito Street in La Boca and then you may enjoy exploring this vibrant city at leisure. In the evening you will be transferred to a “Tanguería” (Tango House) in the San Telmo neighborhood, which is the birthplace of tango and one of the oldest barrios (neighborhoods) of Buenos Aires. Kick off the night with a delicious dinner and enjoy live tango and folk bands. After the show, you will be transferred back to your hotel around midnight for your overnight stay.
Discover the UNESCO-listed Uruguayan town of Colonia del Sacramento on this day trip from Buenos Aires. Leave the cosmopolitan capital behind for the slower pace of life on the other side of the Rio de la Plata. After a ferry ride, meet a local guide for a guided walking tour of Colonia upon arrival. Spend the afternoon discovering Colonia on your own. You’ll return to Buenos Aires by ferry after a full day. Please note: you will be required to present your passport upon arrival into Uruguay and also upon return to Argentina. Overnight at Buenos Aires.
After breakfast at the hotel be transferred to the airport for the flight to Puerto Iguazu (approx. 2 hours), the small town close to the spectacular Iguazu Falls. Upon arrival be met and transferred to the hotel. Here you may enjoy an afternoon and evening at leisure. Overnight at Puerto Iguazu.
After breakfast be met by the local guide for an excursion into the Iguazu National Park (Argentinian side) to spend the day exploring the falls and the surrounding rivers and jungle. The park consists of various trails that take you through the jungle onto wooden walkways built a few meters above the jungle floor and waterways. These raised platforms protect the natural habitat of the jungle wildlife and will give you some spectacular views. Return to Puerto Iguazu in the afternoon for your overnight stay.
This morning after breakfast you will be met at your hotel and transferred onwards to the Brazilian side of the Iguazu National Park which covers an area of approximately 185,000 hectares. Here you will enjoy a half-day guided tour of the the Iguazú River, the Salto Rivadavia, Three Musketeers, and the Devil’s Throat among other iconic landmarks on this side of the national park. This wonderful setting is further enhanced by the permanent formation of rainbows that are generated by the spray from the waterfalls (if the weather is favorable). In the early afternoon, you will be transferred back to Puerto Iguazu and enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.
After breakfast be collected from the hotel and transferred to the airport in Foz de Iguazu (Brazil) for the connecting flight to Rio De Janeiro (approx. 2 hours). Upon arrival in Rio De Janeiro be met and transferred to the hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.
After breakfast be picked up from the hotel to visit the Sugar Loaf Mountain. From the summit, you will have a beautiful and unforgettable view of Guanabara Bay, the beaches of Botafogo, Flamengo and Copacabana, Niterói, the neighborhood of Urca, among other places. Afterward, we take a panoramic tour to see the famous coast of Rio de Janeiro. We can admire and take many pictures of the famous beaches of Rio, such as Leblon Beach, Ipanema Beach, and Copacabana Beach. Around the middle of the day, we take you back to your hotel.
Embark on an early-day adventure from Rio de Janeiro to Angra dos Reis, a journey that includes a comfortable land vehicle ride with a brief rest stop, followed by an exciting 4-hour shared schooner cruise to explore Angra’s captivating bay complex and islands. Stops at spots like Cataguases Island and Lagoa Azul, enjoying picturesque scenery, and spotting marine life. Enjoy lunch and after the boat excursion, return to Rio de Janeiro for your overnight stay.
Today, embark on a tour of Rio de Janeiro’s iconic attractions, starting with the majestic Christ the Redeemer statue atop Corcovado Mountain at 710 meters. Enjoy breathtaking views of the city’s beaches, Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, Maracanã Stadium, and more. Access the monument by train through the lush Tijuca Forest National Park, the world’s largest urban forest. Continue to explore the city center and its main historical landmarks before returning to the hotel for lunch. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of Rio. After breakfast, you will be collected from your hotel and transferred to Rio de Janeiro International Airport.
