South Korea is beautiful year-round, but the ideal time to visit is during spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November).
Spring brings a burst of cherry blossoms and pleasant weather, perfect for sightseeing.
Autumn paints the landscapes in stunning hues of red and gold, making places like Nami Island and Seoul’s parks even more breathtaking.
If you prefer a quieter experience or love winter activities, visiting between December and February will give you a snowy, magical view of cities like Seoul and Busan.
Japan, too, offers year-round beauty, but spring and autumn are considered the best seasons.
Spring (March to May): Famous for the Sakura (cherry blossoms), this season makes historic sites like Kyoto’s temples and Tokyo’s parks look straight out of a postcard.
Autumn (September to November): Witness vibrant fall foliage, a tradition known as “Momijigari,” as temples and gardens transform with fiery colors.
Summer (June to August) is perfect for festivals, while winter (December to February) offers the chance to see snow-covered shrines and enjoy Japanese hot springs.
The highlight of any Japan and South Korea tour is undoubtedly the cherry blossom season.
Japan: Cherry blossoms typically bloom from late March to early April, with peak bloom varying by region.
South Korea: Expect the cherry blossom season to start around early April, especially in cities like Seoul and Busan.
Booking your Japan and South Korea travel package from the USA during these months means you’ll experience parks, temples, and riversides draped in magical pink and white blooms.
