Itinerary
Day 01: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Our driver guide will be glad to receive you at the hotel in Kigali very early in the morning, giving you a briefing about the tour. We then transfer to Nyungwe forest national park, passing through rolling hills and great views of the mountains. The journey to Nyungwe is about 7 hours.

Day 02: Chimpanzee tracking and Canopy walk in the evening
After an early breakfast, we assemble at the park offices for briefing and grouping. It’s here where we pick the ranger guide who will lead you into the forest for the excursion. Chimp tracking can be a little tough but very exciting when you meet the close cousins. Equipped with rain gear, enough drinking water and some snacks to make the exercise smooth. Upon meeting the chimpanzee you will have a complete hour with them. After the trek, we shall have lunch and then later go for a canopy walk in the forest.

Day 03: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Today we shall bid farewell to Nyungwe and head for Volcanoes National Park. The journey north is scenic with views of the rolling hills, Tea plantations and locals attending to their farms. We shall have lunch enroute before arriving in Volcanoes national park. We shall then drive to visit the twin lakes near Volcanoes national park. Lake Ruhondo and lake Burera are located near the border with Uganda and a tour to these will give you spectacular views of nature

Day 04: Mountain Gorilla Trekking and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda
This is the Gorilla trekking day!. We shall drive to the park headquarters for briefing and gorilla group allocation. Here you can enjoy tea or coffee as your guide works with registration and group. A traditional performance entertainment is good to jump start your Gorilla adventure. We then drive to the trekking starting point. Trekking starts and the duration of the trek depends on the location of the Gorillas, however the trek can take between 1-6 hours. Upon meeting the gentle giants, enjoy another hour with the Gorillas before trekking back. We shall then have lunch and then embark on another scenic drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park in Uganda.

Day 05: Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi and evening community walk
Today we shall embark on yet another gorilla trek, this time in Bwindi Impenetrable national park. The trek is similar to that in Volcanoes and also you will go for 1 hour with the gorillas. After the trek, we shall drive back to our lodge and later in the evening, we go for a community walk.

Day 06: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an afternoon game drive
Today we checkout of Bwindi Impenetrable national park heading north to Queen Elizabeth national for our wildlife experience. We shall pass through Ishasha sector of the park for a game drive and here we get the chance of seeing Tree climbing lions, topi, bushbucks, Eland, hyenas, buffalo and so much more. We shall check in our lodge and later go for an evening game drive for more wildlife viewing including lions, leopard, Elephants etc

Day 07: Morning game drive and afternoon boat safari
Early in the morning, we go for an early morning game drive with our packed breakfast in the Kasenyi area of the park. Here we are aiming for the BIG CATS which are more active in the morning such as; Lions & Leopards however other animals will be seen; Hyenas, Elephants, Buffalos, Antelopes and different bird species. . Kasenyi track presents the best region for game viewing because of the open grounds which attract Big game( animals). Return to the lodge for Lunch. In the evening, we go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel which is a wonder of its own, you can’t imagine how close you get to giant animals like Buffalos and Elephants which come to the banks of the channel for water. Other animals which can be seen include; Giant forest hogs, Hippopotamus, Nile crocodiles and many bird species like Great white pelicans, African spoonbills, Great cormorants, African fish eagles among others. We then return to the lodge for dinner. Game drive: 3-4 hours, Boat trip: 2 hours

Day 08: Morning game drive, Transfer to Hoima
Early in the morning, we go for an early morning game drive for more wildlife viewing and head to Hoima, to break the long journey to Murchison falls national park. We shall have a culture experience at the lodge and rest for the night

Day 09: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park for an afternoon game drive
We shall drive out of hoima and head to Murchison Falls National Park. On arrival , we shall check in our lodge for some rest and later go for a game drive in the afternoon

Day 10: Morning game drive, afternoon boat safari and Hike to top of the Falls
The morning is one of the best times to go for a game drive. This is so because you have a chance of seeing predators like Lions, Leopard, Hyena and also the prey animals which are early risers. You also get to see Elephants, Cape Buffalo, Rothschild Giraffe etc.
After the viewing, we head back to the lodge for lunch and then go for a Boat Cruise on River Nile to see hippos, Crocodiles, birds and other animals as they come to drink water from the river. After the boat trip, we shall hike to the top of the falls for spectacular views of the falls from above.

Day 11: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and transfer to Entebbe
Today we shall take a drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. This is the only place in Uganda where you can see the Rhinos in their natural habitat. After the trek, we shall drive straight to Entebbe for your flight back home.
