Best Time to Visit Japan
Japan, too, offers year-round beauty, but spring and autumn are considered the best seasons.
Spring (March to May): Famous for the Sakura (cherry blossoms), this season makes historic sites like Kyoto’s temples and Tokyo’s parks look straight out of a postcard.
Autumn (September to November): Witness vibrant fall foliage, a tradition known as “Momijigari,” as temples and gardens transform with fiery colors.
Summer (June to August) is perfect for festivals, while winter (December to February) offers the chance to see snow-covered shrines and enjoy Japanese hot springs.
Best Time to See Cherry Blossoms
The highlight of any Japan tour is undoubtedly the cherry blossom season.
Japan: Cherry blossoms typically bloom from late March to early April, with peak bloom varying by region.
